Shuttle Ride – Deer Creek Trail

Come pre-ride part of the Fat Tire 40 course!
A FREE shuttle will be provided to bring CBBW participants to some of the best trails CB has to offer.  This is a self-supported ride: please bring personal food, a spare tube, water, sunscreen, etc.  PLEASE NOTE: numbers are limited and participants must sign up online to secure their spot.  Registration will open 5/5/14.  Intermediate riders and up.

Lower Loop Trail Guided Ride

Come ride with the locals!  This fun ride features some of the most stunning scenery in our valley.  A team of local riders will show you the ins and outs of this area classic.  Appropriate for all levels and beginner riders welcome. It’s on – the Fat Tire 40 returns with an epic 40 + mile course on legendary Crested Butte singletrack. Other races claim it, but the Fat Tire 40 really does deliver the goods!   The 2014 Course Map will be up soon, Check out last years map HERE.

Trial some of the hottest gear and newest bikes in the industry, all for FREE - including bikes from Specialized.  Last call is at 3:00 PM and bikes need to be back by 5:00 PM.

Shuttle Ride – Doctor’s Park

A FREE shuttle will be provided to bring CBBW participants to some of the best trails CB has to offer.  This is a self-supported ride: please bring personal food, a spare tube, water, sunscreen, etc.  PLEASE NOTE: numbers are limited and participants must sign up online to secure their spot.  Registration will open 5/5/14.
The trail can be a bit technical and the drop-offs are severe, so the penalty for mistakes is high.

Saturday: Downtown Crested Butte

Bridges of the Butte

This one-of-a-kind 24-hour bike tour loops through downtown Crested Butte, meandering across the town’s bridges. Sign up solo and brave the bike seat for all 24 hours, or put together a team of your friends and tour the town in shifts as day turns to night. Tune up your townie bicycle and find a fabulous costume, because this is one townie takeover you don’t want to miss. Proceeds from the event go to the Adaptive Sports Center. This is a classic longer ride of the Cement Creek Area. Expect a long day.  Intermediate and up.

Thera are many ways to ride this Crested Butte classic.  Our team of local guides will help you sort through all the options, including Tony’s Trail, The Upper Upper and Whetstone Vista trails.  This is a super fun day that will get you back in time to have a cold beverage and take in the late afternoon glow of Crested Butte!
