gO Orthopedics with will sponsoring a bike clinics aimed to benefit riders of all abilities. gO Riders will lead clinics and help riders to get a better grasp of the legendary terrain that surrounds the Crested Butte Community. It is $25.00 to participate in any level of the clinic and lunch is included. Reserve your spot HERE. All levels will meet behind the Chamber of Commerce building (601 Elk Ave) at the 4-way to start the clinic at 9am. After preparing lunch and doing some basic skills riders will break off into groups with different instructors. Beginners: Spend the day working on the Mt. Bike basics. Start in town and venture to Lupine. Intermediate: Spend the day going through portions of the Fat Tire 40 race route. Start in town and venture to Upper Loop and Strand trails. Advanced: Spend the day going through portions of the Fat Tire 40 race route. Start in town and venture to Deer Creek trail.

We are kicking off the first night of Crested Butte Bike Week with the mountain bike films. The evening will also include Oskar Blues Beer and drawing with all types of bike gear from our sponsors. Doors open at 7pm, tickets cost $10.00. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Crested Butte Mountain Bike Association, so come out and show your support for the folks that make Crested Butte a mountain biking mecca. The Chainless World Championships

ChainlessThe legendary 7 mile Chainless Bike Race from the top of Kebler Pass into the Town of Crested Butte is an event like no other. Ask for Friday off work, prepare your bike, your costume and get your ticket HERE!     Participant information: 10am to 12pm - Bike drop-off at the Parking Lot behind the Chamber of Commerce. If your bike is not dropped off at noon it will not be at the top of Kebler. 200pm to 300pm- Participant Shuttle to the top of Kebler Pass leaves from Elk Ave and 6th Ave next to the Chamber Parking Lot Bib pick up will be at the Majestic Theater (507 Red Lady Ave) Thursday night at 7pm or the day of the race, Friday between 10-12pm behind the Chamber of Commerce (601 Elk Ave) at the 4-way.  4:20pm- Race Start Participants over the age of 21 will receive a free Oskar Blues beer drink ticket for the Chainless after party.  Don't forget your ID!

Charging through the best single track Crested Butte has to offer the Fat Tire 40 is an epic race for those looking for a challenge and spectacular views.Register for this kick-ass race HERE! Race Categories are as follows: Open/Pro Men and Women, ages 10 to 25, 26 to 40 and 40+. Rec Men and Women, ages 10 to 25, 26 to 40 and 40+.
